Socket Enchanting (Adding Slots to Equipment)

Some weapons and equipment can have additional card slots added. There are NPCs available to provide this service, allowing you to enhance your items through the Socket Enchant system. To begin the slotting process, you need to bring the desired item along with the required amount of Zeny to the NPC. However, not all items can be slotted—only those specifically designated by Seiyablem or Leablem can be enhanced.

Players can check the list of available weapons and armor below to see which items are eligible and where to find the respective NPCs.

Important Note on Equipment Options

• If an item has five option rows (5 lines of options) and is socket-enchanted, the options will be randomly re-rolled upon successful slottin

• This means that any existing enchantments or bonuses tied to the item’s options will be lost and replaced with new random options.

• Consider this carefully before proceeding, especially if your item has valuable or rare options.

NPC Locations

There are three towns where you can find NPCs that provide the slot-enchanting service. Each NPC functions the same way across different locations in terms of appearance and mechanics. The success rate of slotting an item depends on the item class and your luck.

There are three different NPCs responsible for slotting items, depending on which equipment you want to enhance. You will need to locate either:

• Seiyablem (Yellow Marker on Mini-map)

• Leablem (Red Marker on Mini-map)

• Socket Master (prt_in 22,69)

Socket Master

A new NPC, Socket Master, is now available for socket enchanting. Unlike Seiyablem and Leablem, using this NPC will not re-roll the item's options when adding a slot. This means that any existing enchantments or bonuses will remain unchanged after slotting.

• Location: prt_in 22,69

• Materials Required: The same materials as used with Seiyablem and Leablem.

• Key Difference: Instead of using Zeny for the socket process, players must use an item called Socket Abrasive. Additionally, the item's five option rows will not be re-rolled when using this method.

• Where to Obtain: Players can purchase Socket Abrasive from the Buy Materials option at the Socket Master NPC.

• Seiyablem: Located in the bottom-left corner of the town. (Morocc 51 41)

• Leablem: Found north of Morocc, after warping to Morocc Ruins and walking a bit further up. (moc_ruins 154 86)

Success Rates

There are four classes of weapons and armor that can be socketed, categorized into C, B, A, and S Classes. Each class has a different success rate when attempting to add a slot.

Even within the same class, certain items may have slightly different success rates.

The general success rates for each class are as follows:

• Class C: 25%

• Class B: 20-25%

• Class A: 10-25%

• Class S: 5-10%

Special Service:

• There is a 90% success rate if you choose the special option when talking to Leablem. Select "Something he doesn’t talk about" to attempt slotting a Hat of the Sun God.

The success rate remains the same regardless of which town's NPC you visit.

Failure Consequences

• If the slotting attempt fails, the weapon or equipment will be destroyed.

• Any inserted cards will also be lost.

• The materials and Zeny used will not be refunded, whether the attempt is successful or unsuccessful.

• Important: Ensure you only carry one copy of the item you want to slot in your inventory.

  • Example: If you have both a +7 Manteau and a regular Manteau in your inventory, the NPC will randomly choose one for slotting.

  • To avoid this issue, only bring the specific item you want to enhance.
